As I have said prices of petrol has hiked just after the budget session. It has raised some questions. Why this decision has taken just after the session? Answer is very simple, government has taken the decision very earlier but they don't want to face the opposition. I has followed this session from very earlier due to some important bills what was expected to pass in this session. But this government again fail to impress public. Accept child abuse bill, no any other bill has taken in parliament.
After this session BJP was not looking in strong position because of their internal crisis. But Government has give them a chance to again a hyper attack on them. I am not very happy with this because i am not a BJP cadre.
As it was expected because of the constant decreasing in the value of Rupee and price hike of crude oil in international market. It is the main reason of the price hike. Any one may be agree with this excuse but i am definitely not. As every one knows IOC(Indian Oil Corporation) get crude oil from OPAQUE in 25-30 rs./litre , government charges custom duty on it. It can raise some cost of it. After this when It comes refinery, Government charges excise duty, it can also raise some prices. After this Government charges some other taxes , and now state government charge VAT and sales taxes. Finally it comes to us with a huge price of 70 rs./litre.
Now where the chances of loss, its definitely not because of price issue, its because of mismanagement, they are in the loss. According to some sources, they are in the loss of 50 crore daily and they are planing to raise the price of diesel and LPG. So, finally we have to be ready for some more disaster.
